At Alpayana, we continue searching for talent for the following position in our \#Unit \#Americana: Requirements * Degree holder and registered member of the Mining Engineering professional association. * Two years of experience in the role within underground mining. Responsibilities + Supervise, execute, and control safety activities and programs developed in the area. + Verify that workers understand and comply with safety standards, Written Work Procedures (WWPs), and color-coding for area signage. + Conduct periodic audits and inspections across various work zones, including underground mine areas and surface locations, to ensure adherence to safety regulations (MASST policy). + Participate in reporting and investigating incidents, near-misses, and occupational accidents to identify root causes and propose corrective actions. + Supervise, execute, and control safety activities and programs developed in the area, delivering scheduled Occupational Health and Safety talks to company and contractor personnel; also conducting planned and unplanned inspections across all Operations areas. + Halt any activity presenting obvious conditions that endanger personnel, equipment, or the environment. + Supervise implementation of annual safety, occupational health, and environmental programs, performing monthly follow-ups and reporting. ### **Alpayana** #### **Mining** **Peru, Lima, Lima** We are Alpayana, a mining group committed to sustainable mining, positively contributing to our surroundings through every action we undertake.
