Your journey toward impact and innovation begins here at WSP! **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead comprehensive planning and control of high-complexity projects and portfolios. * Define control strategies aligned with business and client objectives. * Actively participate in preparing technical-economic proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and risk analyses. * Advise Project Managers and Project Directors on decision-making through quantitative analyses and predictive scenarios. * Develop, validate, and approve master schedules (Level 1 to Level 4\). * Lead the establishment of baseline schedules, costs, and resources. * Supervise resource planning and staffing plans for projects and portfolios. * Implement advanced scheduling methodologies using Primavera P6 and other Project Controls tools. * Lead financial control of projects, including cost analysis, profitability, cash flow, and economic performance. * Develop and validate ETC, EAC, BAC forecasts and trend analyses. * Identify margin improvement opportunities and propose corrective actions. * Supervise preparation of payment certificates and management of valuations with clients and subcontractors. * Manage provisions, financial risks, and variance analyses. * Lead the Change Management and Scope Control process. * Manage change orders, claims, time extensions, and impact analyses. * Develop strategies for schedule recovery and risk mitigation. * Lead project risk and opportunity analysis sessions. * Design and lead monitoring systems using KPIs, dashboards, and executive reports. * Present results and analyses to senior management, clients, and stakeholders. * Implement control methodologies based on performance metrics such as SPI, CPI, productivity, physical progress, and earned value. * Promote digitalization and automation of Project Controls processes using Power BI, Power Query, and corporate tools. * Lead teams of Project Controls Engineers, Planners, and Analysts. * Serve as a technical mentor for less-experienced staff. * Develop standards, procedures, and best practices for Project Controls. * Participate in team selection, training, and development processes. * Provide technical support to the Project Controls Leader and Project Delivery Leader in resolving complex cases and making strategic decisions. * Comply with internal policies and procedures of the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety in the activities performed, among others. **Professional Background:** * Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, Mining Engineering or related degrees. * Master’s degree or specialization in Project Management, Project Controls, Construction, or Business Management is desirable. * More than 12 years of professional experience. * Minimum 10 years performing Project Controls functions in multidisciplinary engineering, mining, energy, infrastructure, or construction projects. * Proven experience leading Project Controls teams. * Experience managing project portfolios exceeding US$50 MM. * Experience with EPCM, EPC contracts or engineering services for mining will be highly valued. * Technical Knowledge in: Project Controls and Earned Value Management (EVM), Cost, budget, and forecasting management, Advanced scheduling with Primavera P6, Risk and opportunity management, Contract Management and Change Management, Claims and time extensions, Performance indicators (SPI, CPI, Productivity, Burn Rate, NLM), Power BI, Advanced Excel and Power Query, Knowledge of PMI, AACE International standards, and mining industry best practices.
