Coordinate activities with various mining departments **UNDERGROUND MINING SHIFT SUPERVISOR** A mining-sector company is seeking an **Underground Mining Shift Supervisor** to oversee and control mine operations, guaranteeing compliance with safety, productivity, and quality standards in underground mining. **Main Responsibilities:** * Supervise preparation, development, extraction, and haulage activities underground. * Implement and verify compliance with Safe Work Procedures (SWPs), safety standards, and regulations. * Coordinate activities with geology, surveying, maintenance, drilling, and auxiliary services departments. * Lead and supervise operational personnel during the shift. * Supervise drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling activities. * Report daily progress and activities to the Mine Manager. * Promote continuous operational improvements and SSOMA system compliance. * Verify proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety management tools. * Operate a 4x4 pickup truck both underground and on surface. **Requirements:** * Certified, licensed, and registered Mining Engineer. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar positions within underground mining. * Knowledge of drilling, blasting, geomechanics, and mine operations. * Familiarity with mining safety practices and current regulatory requirements. * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Class AI driver’s license (preferred). **Competencies:** * Leadership and personnel management. * Ability to work under pressure. * Strong organizational and decision-making skills. * Effective communication and teamwork. * Results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. **We Offer:** * Formal employment registration. * 14x7 work schedule. * Professional development opportunities. * Excellent working environment. * Mining-sector labor regime. \*Work Location:\* Americana Mining Unit Apply by submitting your updated CV.
