WAREHOUSE OPERATOR

Description

Job Summary: This role involves verifying, storing, and dispatching materials and products, conducting inventory counts, and operating warehouse equipment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive management of materials and products in the warehouse 2. Operation of equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks 3. Application of safety standards and quality control Review material requirements or finished product dispatch orders. · Verify and deliver the requested quantity of material or finished product. · Assist in receiving materials delivered by suppliers, verifying specifications against the purchase order. · Store materials or finished products in designated areas. · Conduct physical inventory checks, warehouse cleaning, material and product organization and arrangement. · Dispatch materials or finished products upon coordination with the warehouse supervisor. · Operate hydraulic pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, cargo carts, and bicycles, subject to prior authorization and training. · Perform stacking, unstacking, packing, unpacking, arranging, classification, physical counting, protection, and internal/external distribution of materials, supplies, and finished products within warehouses. · Execute, verify, and validate picking operations, delivery notes, invoices, and receipts, preparing orders according to requests from internal or external customers. · Maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) control, considering material or finished product batch numbers and expiration dates. · Complete all forms used by the department. · Take all necessary precautions to ensure personal and coworker well-being, complying with labor laws and company-mandated industrial safety regulations. · Safeguard company fixed assets. · Other departmental requirements.
