We are seeking a committed and organized Junior Accountant to supervise accounting and tax activities, review transactions, calculate taxes, and prepare annual tax returns.

A leading company in the automotive parts distribution industry is looking for a committed, organized, and results-oriented Junior Accountant who wishes to join our team and contribute to the organization's growth.
**Requirements**
* Degree in Public Accounting.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in the position.
* Experience in commercial or import companies.
* Experience in corporate groups is desirable.
* Participation in monthly closings.
* Immediate availability
**Responsibilities**
* Supervision of accounting and tax tasks performed by accounting assistants.
* Review of purchases (IGV, income tax, withholding taxes).
* Review of sales, cross-checked with electronic invoicing.
* Review of electronic invoicing, cross-checking Flex vs Factus.
* Daily review of the SUNAT mailbox and reporting notifications to superiors.
* Review of payroll and issuance of approval stamp (V°B°).
* Review of fees paid for income tax (I.R.) declaration and/or payment.
* Review of tax settlements, payments, overpayments, withholdings, etc.
* Monthly pre-calculation of taxes: PDT 621, PDT 617, PDT 697, PLAME.
* Review of the Daily Journal and General Ledger on a monthly basis through respective cross-checks and validations.
* Support for accounting assistants and other departments regarding queries and doubts.
* Review of bank reconciliations.
* Monthly review of account analyses; verification of correct Cost of Sales percentage.
* Review and confirmation of sales figures per trial balance, cross-checked with tax reports.
* Monthly review of expenses by cost center.
* Verification of discrepancies between accounts receivable and accounts payable.
* Requesting Finance Department to pursue doubtful collections.
* Handling procedures before SUNAT, individuals, and special cases when intervention is required.
* Supervision and review of annexes to the Annual Income Tax Return Declaration.
* Preparation of the company’s and shareholders’ Annual Income Tax Return Declaration.
* Surprise cash counts, promissory note audits, and checkbook audits.
**Working Hours**
* Monday to Friday: 8:35 a.m. to 5:50 p.m.
* Saturdays: 8:35 a.m. to 2:05 p.m.
