Axity is a company with over 35 years of experience; our service portfolio is one of the largest in the industry: Digital Strategy, Software Development, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Advanced Analytics, Security, and IoT. **We are looking for a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer \- Peru** We seek a cybersecurity engineer with **1 to 2 years of experience**, responsible for **administering security controls on endpoints, web applications, and cloud environments**, and for **managing perimeter firewalls to ensure timely threat detection**, handling escalated cases from Tier 1, protecting critical information, and continuously improving the security posture. REQUIREMENTS **Mandatory Knowledge** -------------------------------- **Advanced EDR (Cortex) Administration** * Mass deployment of agents. * Creation and tuning of prevention and protection policies. * Response to ransomware and APT attacks. * Optimization of exclusions and tuning to reduce false positives. **Firewalls (Palo Alto)** * **Security Policy Management** * Create, modify, and optimize security rules based on applications, users, and zones. * Periodically review obsolete or redundant rules to reduce risks and improve performance. * **Object and Security Profile Management** * Manage network objects, services, groups, and addresses. * Configure security profiles such as Antivirus, Anti\-Spyware, Vulnerability Protection, URL Filtering, and WildFire to strengthen protection. * **Event Monitoring and Analysis** * Monitor traffic, threat, authentication, and system logs. * Identify suspicious activities, security incidents, and potential configuration failures using dashboards and reports. * **Platform Updates and Maintenance** * Keep threat signatures, applications (App\-ID), PAN\-OS operating system, and licenses up to date. * Perform periodic configuration backups and validate disaster recovery plans. * **High Availability and Performance Management** * Administer High Availability (HA) configurations to ensure operational continuity. * Monitor CPU, memory, session, and throughput utilization to ensure optimal firewall performance and prevent service degradation. **Imperva WAF – Administration and Architecture** * Protection against OWASP Top 10\. * Configuration of custom rules. * SSL/TLS certificate management. * Traffic analysis and tuning to reduce false positives. **Netskope – CASB / SSE / SASE** * Control and visibility into SaaS applications. * Configuration of DLP policies. * Shadow IT control. * Protection of data in transit and at rest. * Management of Zero Trust access policies. * Web browsing protection (SWG). **Soft Skills** ----------------------- * Effective communication with both technical and non-technical teams. * Analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation. * Decision-making under pressure. * Collaborative work. * Organization and prioritization. * Proactivity and sense of ownership.
