Job Summary: Newrest is seeking a kitchen assistant to support pre-preparation and preparation of dishes, including sauce preparation and mise en place. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support in pre-preparation and preparation of dishes 2. Preparation of sauces, side dishes, and salads 3. Execution of mise en place Newrest is a multinational catering company, currently operating in over 58 countries and present in Peru for the past 13 years. Focused on gastronomy, our operations span Airline Catering, Concessions, and Remote Site Services, covering food service, maintenance, and hospitality within the latter. We are currently seeking a kitchen assistant. Requirements: * Completed secondary education. * And/or relevant work experience validating and supporting your knowledge. * Minimum 3 months’ experience in similar positions. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist the chef and/or head chef with pre-preparation and/or preparation of dishes * Prepare sauces, side dishes, salads, and others * Perform the mise \& place * Assist in assigned food preparation and plating tasks. * Provide support in activities assigned by your immediate supervisor.
