La Calera, a Peruvian egg distribution company, is searching for top talent for the position of **MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT** within the **TRANSPORTATION** department. **Mission:** Monitor and review data collected from the transportation fleet to optimize costs incurred in corrective and preventive maintenance. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Technical or university graduate in Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 1 year of work experience in this or similar positions. * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency. **(Important)** * Knowledge of Fleet Management **(Traffic regulations / Vehicle maintenance)** * Basic-level Power BI skills or familiarity. * Valid driver's license. * **Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM in Chorrillos.** **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Register and update information related to preventive and corrective maintenance of transport units. * Maintain and regularly update the maintenance department’s database and KPIs, including fleet availability and cost control. * Monitor compliance with preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for transport units. * Coordinate responses to mechanical emergencies, vehicle breakdowns, and roadside assistance with workshops, suppliers, and operational staff. * Monitor and verify validity of mandatory unit documents, such as SOAT insurance, technical inspections, permits, and other insurance policies. * Record, monitor, and track traffic tickets, infractions, and documentary observations related to the fleet. * Coordinate maintenance scheduling and unit availability with operations departments and external suppliers.
