Research and implement new technologies At Valtx, a leading Peruvian IT consulting firm with over 25 years of industry experience, we are looking for top talent for the following position: **Backend Java Developer** At **Valtx**, a company with 25 years of experience in the Peruvian market whose primary objective is to become a strategic partner by delivering technological solutions across all aspects of business processes; developing, implementing, and maintaining business applications and technology infrastructure; and providing consultancy across various digital transformation initiatives, we are seeking a BACKEND DEVELOPER. **What responsibilities will you have?** * Collaborate in technical leadership for designing architectures for critical systems * Make strategic technical decisions * Optimize performance of transactional systems * Implement high-availability solutions * Collaborate with architects on standards * Research and implement new technologies * Negotiate technical requirements versus business needs * Manage technical debt **What qualifications do you need?** **Education:** \- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. **Experience:** * Minimum 6 years of backend development experience (Java) * 2 years in core banking * Experience leading technical teams **Technical Knowledge:** * Advanced proficiency in backend languages and frameworks (Java, Node.js, etc.) * Experience implementing solutions using Domain-Driven Design * Design and implementation of resilient microservice architectures * Advanced database design (SQL, NoSQL) * Advanced expertise in containerization technologies and Kubernetes * Expert knowledge of API Gateway and API Hub * Advanced knowledge of AWS cloud technologies * Implementation of centralized logging systems and complex authentication flows * Strategies for secure handling of sensitive banking data * Management of secrets and certificates * Experience with static and dynamic analysis tools * SQL Server, Oracle, RDS SQL Server, MongoDB * Proficiency in cloud infrastructure and managed services **Work Conditions:** * On-site work in San Isidro * Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM **Benefits:** * Full payroll registration from day one. * Health insurance (EPS) * Corporate agreements. * Professional growth and development.
