Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Procurement Officer to lead the procurement of goods and services, optimizing costs and mitigating risks within the financial sector. We seek a highly analytical and strategic **Senior Procurement Officer** with solid experience in the **Banking and Finance** sector. The primary objective of this position is to lead and optimize the procurement process for goods, technology solutions, and corporate services, ensuring maximum cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and compliance with the institution’s internal policies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex spend categories (particularly intangible assets and technology), leading large-scale tenders, and consolidating strategic relationships with top-tier suppliers. **Key Responsibilities** * **Strategic Category Management:** Plan and execute procurement strategies for critical financial sector categories (e.g., software, hardware, consulting, global services, marketing, infrastructure, etc.). * **Advanced Negotiation:** Conduct large-scale commercial negotiations to secure optimal pricing, delivery timelines, service-level agreements (SLAs), and contractual terms. * **Supplier Evaluation:** Qualify, evaluate, and monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, information security requirements, and financial-sector risk criteria. * **Cost Optimization:** Identify savings opportunities and implement efficiency initiatives without compromising business continuity or quality. * **Compliance and Auditing:** Ensure all procurement processes strictly adhere to the company’s governance policies and applicable regulatory requirements in the financial sector. * **Management Reporting:** Prepare and present key procurement metrics (KPIs), realized savings, and project status reports to departmental management. **Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related fields. Specialization or certification in Procurement Management / Supply Chain Management is desirable. * **Experience:** Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, of which **at least 3 years must be in Banking, Insurance, AFP (Private Pension Fund Administrators), or other financial services** (mandatory). * **Technical Knowledge:** * Proven experience procuring technology (licensing, cloud infrastructure, IT services). * Strong proficiency in supplier evaluation matrices, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, and complex commercial contracts. * Advanced expertise in procurement modules of leading ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, or similar). * Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, database analysis). * **Languages:** Intermediate/Advanced English * **Soft Skills:** Strategic vision, strong negotiation capability, unwavering professional ethics, executive-level assertive communication, and results orientation.
