Job Summary: We are seeking a software development professional with experience in database migration to join our Systems Department, optimizing and documenting processes. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in database migration (SQL Server to MariaDB/MySQL). 2. Strong knowledge of T-SQL, standard SQL, and migration tools. 3. Ability to create explanatory software videos and design web pages. **Position:** **SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT** We are a company with over 35 years of history, operating multiple business divisions: We are currently seeking professionals to join our **SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT:** **Responsibilities:** * Analyze the current SQL Server database structure. * Plan and execute migration to MariaDB, ensuring data integrity and performance. * Convert stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views to MariaDB-compatible formats. * Validate consistency and accuracy of migrated data. * Optimize SQL queries to adapt to the new database engine. * Document the migration process and provide post-migration support if required. **Requirements:** * Proven experience in database migration across different engines, especially from SQL Server to MariaDB or MySQL. * Solid knowledge of T-SQL and standard SQL. * Familiarity with migration tools (e.g., **MySQL Workbench**, **MariaDB Migration Toolkit**, **DBConvert**, **Custom Scripts**, etc.). * Ability to identify incompatibilities and propose solutions. * Knowledge of referential integrity, normalization, and query optimization. * [Desirable] Experience in database server administration. **Additional Required Skills (desirable but important):** **1\. Creation of explanatory software videos:** * Ability to record, edit, and narrate explanatory videos for developed processes or platforms. * Basic UX knowledge to clearly and didactically communicate interfaces. **2\. Web page design:** * Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (e.g., React, Vue, Bootstrap). * Ability to develop responsive and visually appealing web pages. * Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Canva, or others. **Soft Skills:** * Proactivity and results orientation. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. **DESIRABLE:** Residency in areas such as Ate, Santa Anita, Huaycán, etc. (but not mandatory).
