Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Developer to create and maintain technological solutions in the academic/administrative domain, ensuring their proper functionality and quality. Collaboration in continuous system improvement On behalf of the Information Technology Directorate, we are looking for 1 Senior Developer who meets the following profile: **Job Mission:** Develop specified technological solutions for the area through integration, adaptation, coding, and/or configuration of software or computer applications to be used in institutional processes. **Responsibilities:** * Code applications requiring expert knowledge of tools and academic/administrative environments/platforms to fulfill project requirements while adhering to programming and quality control standards. * Prepare platforms with academic/administrative applications for direct use, functional expansion, or utilization as integration platforms for other applications within assigned projects. * Set up test environments (data and parameter entry) and supervise testing to ensure application functionality. * Propose solutions based on errors identified in test environments or incidents (in production) to meet user needs. * Provide feedback to the IT Solutions team to improve implementation specifications for academic/administrative solutions, thereby guaranteeing application and system functionality. * Support the department, as appropriate, in preparing necessary documentation and executing required processes for deliverable development, CMDB, and/or knowledge management. * Address recommendations from the Infrastructure department to enhance service levels where applicable (when the issue lies in the application layer or the application itself). * Support corresponding project processes and/or phases for production environment deployments in coordination with DTI departments. * Report to the project coordinator, as appropriate for assigned projects, to monitor execution within timelines and guidelines set by the Unit and the client. * Perform other related or complementary duties, as well as any others assigned by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements:** * Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field. * 1 year of experience in the education sector (preferred). * 2 years of experience in IT/Systems. * 2 years of experience in software and application programming. * Advanced knowledge of current programming languages: Java, PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Python, or Kotlin/Swift. * Advanced knowledge of Git-based version control (experience with GitLab or GitHub). * Advanced knowledge of relational databases: ORACLE, MySQL. * Intermediate knowledge of purpose-specific applications: LMS, ERP, CMS. * Basic knowledge of project management (PMBOK, SCRUM). * Basic knowledge of Cloud tools: AWS, Firebase. * Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools: docker, docker\-compose, jenkins.
