Job Summary: Monitoring and operations specialist for SMS platforms, ensuring service availability and messaging service integration. Key Highlights: 1. Operate and manage the SMS messaging platform. 2. Monitor and schedule using tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, or Grafana. 3. Administer and document REST/SOAP APIs for integration. \*INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ENGINEER AND/OR MONITORING SPECIALIST\* Specialist in APIs and server, application, and database monitoring tools, with expertise in the SMPP protocol for SMS platforms; minimum 2 years of experience including support and operations to ensure platform availability, integration, and proper functioning of text message delivery services. Responsibilities \* Operate and administer the SMS messaging platform (bulk, transactional, and promotional messaging). \* Execute SQL queries for traffic analysis, delivery reporting, and message auditing. \* Monitor and schedule service platforms using tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, or Grafana. \* Configure and manage alerts, dashboards, and service availability metrics. \* Administer and document REST/SOAP APIs for service integration with third-party systems. \* Conduct connectivity tests and validation for integrations with clients and providers. \* Respond to and escalate service incidents, ensuring SLA compliance. \* Manage SMS messaging routes and agreements with operators and SMS providers. \* Prepare operational and service quality reports. Requirements and Technical Skills \* 2 years of experience handling APIs, SMS messaging platforms, and/or telecommunications. \* Proficiency in SQL queries (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle). \* Experience with monitoring tools: Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, or similar. \* Knowledge of REST/SOAP API integration and consumption. \* Familiarity with SMPP and/or HTTP/HTTPS protocols (optional). \* Basic Linux server administration skills. \* Desirable: Bash or Python scripting; experience with Postman or similar tools. \* Degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
