Ensures all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable internal standards, policies, and procedures. **What do we expect from you?** * Completed university or technical degree related to the Bank’s business scope: Finance, Accounting, Administration, etc. * 2–4 years of experience as a Sales and Service Advisor, Retail Banking Sales Force, or similar roles. **What challenges will you face?** * Promotes a customer-centric culture to deepen client relationships and leverage the Bank’s extensive relationships, systems, and expertise. * Actively carries out operations within respective areas in compliance with internal regulations, intercompany commercial agreements within the Scotiabank Group, and applicable legal provisions. * Contributes to maximizing the Bank’s profitability by developing commercial management with existing or potential customers through sales and service offerings—providing financial advisory services while adhering to client contact activity discipline (ABP). * Evaluates customers or potential customers and offers products or services aligned with their needs and financial capacity, minimizing the Bank’s default risk. * Utilizes all tools provided by the Bank’s commercial management model—including Counselor, commercial window, active campaigns, commercial intelligence database, among others—to maximize customer portfolio management. * Evaluates the performance of assigned portfolio customers holding active and passive products, enabling cross-selling and/or fund withdrawal prevention initiatives—identifying and/or recognizing customer needs and solutions that satisfy them. * Conducts prevention, recovery, and collection activities as appropriate, based on proper monitoring of customers’ active and passive product portfolios. * Applies Bank-established policies including credit, risk, Anti-Money Laundering (Know Your Customer), etc. * Receives, manages, follows up on, and resolves (where feasible) customer inquiries and complaints using relevant systems. These should be channeled via the designated platform and Call Center to centralize customer service channels. * Promptly attends to and follows up on internal referrals from agencies and other sales channels. * Understands the Bank’s risk culture and how risk appetite must be considered in daily activities and decisions. Actively conducts effective and efficient operations within respective areas while ensuring the suitability, compliance, and effectiveness of daily business controls—fulfilling obligations aimed at mitigating operational risk, regulatory non-compliance risk, money laundering and terrorist financing risk, and conduct risk—including responsibilities outlined under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, International Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Manual, and Business Conduct Guidelines.
