If you are bright, quick to learn, show initiative, have excellent cusomter service skills and are an expert in Excel, you will really enjoy this job and find it rewarding. **Duties \& Responsibilities** **Sales \& Bookings** (20%) * Answer reservation inquiries by email and phone. * Once initial contact is made, follow the reservation through to booking, including preparing trip itineraries and custom tour budgets, as necessary. **Trip Management** (40%) * Provide all the pre\-arrival and on\-the\-ground support for clients, including communication via WhatsApp * Manage reservations and specific client requests with local office staff * Keep all internal documentation up\-to\-date * Manage review platforms **Provide Customer Service** (10%) * Be an in\-country English\-speaking presence and provide assistance in English. * Provide quality control and confirm adherence to sustainable, responsible and ethical principles. * Troubleshoot issues, including managing changes \& cancellations, and monitoring the Emergency Phone **Quality Control** (10%) * Collect client feedback and coordinate internal reviews * Critically reviewing the customer experience from point of sale through to exit of country, identifying areas for improvement * Attend occasional meetings and/or FAM trips organised by existing or potential providers **Admin** (20%) * Complete regular administrative tasks related to your position. * Other tasks as required. **Salary \& Hours** Competitive salary, plus all health and employment benefits required by Peruvian law. This is a full\-time position. You are expected to work 40h/wk, M\-F, at our Cusco office, within set office hours. Occasional after\-hours and weekend work will also be required during peak season. There is a 3\-month probation period at full pay to ensure that you are right for the position. **Qualifications** We are looking for someone who is passionate about travel to Peru, who is a traveller themselves and is looking to put down roots in Cusco. **Must have legal residency in Peru, or be willing to obtain it**. **Essential** * Excellent communication \& organization skills * Fluency (reading, writing, and speaking) in **both** English (native level or Advanced) and Spanish * A high degree of emotional intelligence and empathy * Excellent problem\-solving skills * Strong customer service skills * Keen attention to detail – in fact, is passionate about detail! * Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and online applications (Zoom, Google Meet, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) * Passion for travel * Personal familiarity with Peru’s main tourism attractions * Creativity, patience and ability to work under pressure * Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a multi\-cultural, collaborative team located around the world. * Motivated and able to take initiative and work independently **Desirable** * Experience working in a high\-end travel agency or trek operator * Experience in sales and skilled in salesmanship * Experience creating complex budgets and tour itineraries * Knowledge of social media, blogging or website maintenance (WordPress) * Knowledge of digital photography \& video – producing and editing film and photo * Interest in responsible eco\-travel, traditional culture and/or community development **How to Apply** Interested applicants should submit their applications via email to *reservas@apus\-peru.com*, with the subject heading **Client Experience Coordinator**.
