Job Summary: Scaler Operator responsible for operating mining equipment, performing mechanized scaling, and supporting ground support activities, following safety and quality standards to advance mining operations. Comply with safety, health, and environmental procedures At SEPROCAL, we are seeking Scaler Operators to join the MARSA MINING UNIT team. Job Mission: Operate assigned mining equipment in accordance with safety, occupational health, environmental, and quality standards and procedures, and perform mechanized scaling, services, ground support assistance, and other related tasks to contribute to the advancement of mining operations. Responsibilities: * Perform scaling operations using the SCALER equipment according to established procedures. * Conduct continuous IPERC assessments before commencing work, verifying that installations and equipment remain undamaged during operations. Likewise, use personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with current occupational safety and health regulations. * Operate more than one piece of equipment, provided the operator has received appropriate training and demonstrates proven practical experience. This action shall be carried out using the task-change form. Also comply with RITRA and underground mine traffic regulations. * Verify equipment operational status using pre-use checklists. If any malfunction occurs, report it immediately to the control center, immediate supervisor, and mechanical maintenance team. * Inspect assigned equipment at the beginning and end of each shift and submit reports on its condition and operational status to the direct supervisor. * Immediately report any operational or equipment-related incidents to the supervisor and control center, in accordance with established procedures. * Transport the equipment to its designated parking location, placing it in a safe area away from loose rocks or steep slopes, applying required safety locks. Report equipment location to the control center and maintain order and cleanliness. Requirements: * Technical Professional – Heavy Machinery Operator * Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience * Availability to work under the mining 28x14 work schedule * Transportation allowances * Paid statutory holidays * Monthly profit-sharing (Provis) * Formal employment registration with SEPROCAL from day one * 100% covered meals and accommodation * Annual bonuses (Utilidades) Salary: S/.3,500.00 – S/.3,750.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
