Position Summary: We are seeking a certified accountant with experience in the mining sector to manage financial operations, control costs, and ensure tax compliance, thereby supporting decision-making. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead financial management and cost control in the mining sector. 2. Support decision-making through financial analysis and internal control. 3. Work in a demanding environment, ensuring transparency and compliance. A certified accountant with over 5 years of experience in the mining sector, focused on financial information management, cost control, and tax compliance. Proven experience collaborating closely with operational departments—understanding production, maintenance, and logistics processes—to ensure appropriate accounting control and support decision-making. Accustomed to working under the mining regulatory regime and in demanding environments, complying with current regulations and ensuring order, internal control, and transparency in financial reporting. **Requirements:** * Degree in Accounting. * Minimum 5 years of experience in the mining sector. * Up-to-date knowledge of tax, labor, and accounting regulations. * Experience in cost control and analysis by cost centers. * Intermediate/advanced proficiency in accounting software and Excel. * ERP experience preferred (CONCAR and SISPAG). **Responsibilities:** * Supervise and ensure accurate recording of accounting transactions. * Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports. * Monitor and track operational costs (production, maintenance, and logistics). * Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax declarations. * Support and lead internal and external audit processes. * Verify compliance with tax and labor obligations. * Propose improvements to accounting processes and internal controls. **Competencies:** * Strong financial analysis skills and focus on cost control. * Sound judgment for decision-making. * Responsibility, ethics, and handling of confidential information. * Ability to work under pressure and within the mining regulatory regime. * Strong communication and leadership skills.
