Wellness Activities **Job Description** ---------------------- Perform and develop analytical processing support activities in the Molecular Biology area at ONCOGENOMICS laboratory. 1\. Sample reception and registration, verifying compliance with requirements. 2\. Perform pre-analytical laboratory procedures and DNA/RNA extractions in accordance with operational instructions, standard operating procedures, biosafety, and clinical laboratory quality requirements. 3\. Perform case referrals. 4\. Conduct internal and external quality control for the area, maintaining corresponding records in order. 5\. Assist in managing the entry and exit of supplies and reagents for the area, keeping the inventory up to date. 6\. Enter real-time records into OG’s database and client databases. 7\. Assist with ATHENA. 8\. Provide in-person or telephone support to patients/physicians. 9\. Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Bachelor's degree and/or degree in Biology.
