Position Summary: We are seeking an Estimating Engineer with experience in preparing estimates for electromechanical, hydraulic, or infrastructure projects, specifically focused on WTPs, WWTPs, and pumping systems. Key Highlights: 1. Key experience in WTP, WWTP, and pumping system projects. 2. Advanced proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and estimating software (S10, Presto). 3. Preparation of estimates, quantity take-offs, and unit cost analysis (UCA). **Position:** Estimating Engineer **Academic Qualifications:** * Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Civil Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, or related degree. * Degree holder and professionally licensed (preferred). **Experience:** Experience in preparing estimates for electromechanical, hydraulic, or infrastructure projects. Experience in projects related to: * Pumping systems. * Water Treatment Plants (WTPs). * Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs). * Pumping stations and hydraulic networks (preferred). * Experience preparing estimates for public and/or private construction works. **Technical Knowledge:** * Preparation of estimates, quantity take-offs, and unit cost analysis (UCA). * Preparation of technical-economic quotations. * Reading and interpretation of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic drawings. * Preparation of valuations and cost estimations. * Knowledge of construction processes and electromechanical installation. * Familiarity with technical specifications and terms of reference. * Knowledge of regulations applicable to sanitation projects. **Software Proficiency:** * Microsoft Excel (Advanced). * AutoCAD. * S10, Presto, or equivalent estimating software. **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare estimates and quotations for pumping system, WTP, and WWTP projects. * Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and technical specifications. * Conduct unit cost analysis. * Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare technical-economic proposals for tenders and private clients. * Review technical files and identify potential risks or cost deviations. * Coordinate with engineering, operations, procurement, and project departments to define scope and costs. * Provide technical support during tendering and project execution phases. * Update databases of material, equipment, labor, and service prices. **Competencies:** * Analytical ability. * Results-oriented. * Organization and planning. * Teamwork. * Effective communication. * Proactivity. * Attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
