Position Summary: We are seeking a professional to coordinate and supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in water projects, ensuring integration, schedule adherence, and compliance with quality and safety standards. They are responsible for managing and communicating sustainability both internally within the organization and externally to shareholders, investors, and service/product consumers. Activities include: raising organizational awareness of the importance of sustainability; preparing reports required by the company and stakeholders; communicating and promoting the organization’s sustainability initiatives to consumers; planning sustainability and environmental strategies and establishing indicators to monitor progress; reporting on corporate progress and performance against set indicators; engaging with stakeholders to communicate and implement further actions toward achieving an environmentally sustainable organization. **Candidate Requirements** ACCIONA, for its WATER business unit, seeks to hire a professional with the following profile: **Position Objective**: * Coordinate and supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for the project, ensuring proper interdisciplinary integration, schedule compliance, quality standards, and safety requirements, thereby guaranteeing efficient, safe, and objective-aligned commissioning. **Responsibilities:** * Coordinate execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, I&C, and process). * Supervise field progress, ensuring schedule adherence and correct activity sequencing. * Manage system handover from construction (Mechanical Completion) to commissioning. * Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) standards throughout all commissioning activities. * Report progress, deviations, and risks to the Commissioning Manager and collaborate in problem resolution. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 7 years of experience in project coordination and 5 years in commissioning/start-up. * Basic/intermediate level of English (desirable). **Other Requirements:** Willingness to travel.
