The Credit Analyst is responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and managing customer credit applications, ensuring compliance with the financial institution’s established criteria. This role is critical to ensuring proper credit risk management, optimizing profitability, and reducing delinquency. **Main Responsibilities** **Credit Application Evaluation:** * Analyze documentation submitted by customers (e.g., payroll slips, professional service receipts, financial statements). * Verify the information provided, ensuring its authenticity and completeness. * Calculate the customer’s repayment capacity and determine the associated risk level. **Credit Risk Analysis:** * Apply analytical methodologies to assess the applicant’s credit profile. * Consult credit bureau reports (e.g., Infocorp, Sentinel). * Project the customer’s future payment behavior. **Report Preparation:** * Draft credit reports with recommendations regarding approval or rejection of applications. * Present analyzed cases to the credit committee (where applicable). **Monitoring and Control:** * Monitor the portfolio of approved credits to identify potential default risks. * Follow up with delinquent customers and coordinate actions with the collections department. **Customer Service:** * Advise customers on available credit products. * Address questions related to credit policies and requirements. **Compliance with Internal Policies:** * Ensure evaluations are conducted in accordance with company policies and regulations. * Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations. **Requirements for the Position** **Experience:** * Minimum 1\-2 years of experience in credit analysis or similar roles within financial institutions. * Experience evaluating individuals and/or legal entities (depending on the company’s focus). **Technical Knowledge:** * Proficiency in financial analysis tools. * Knowledge of credit evaluation methodologies. * Advanced \- intermediate proficiency in Excel. * Familiarity with credit management software or financial ERP systems. **Skills and Competencies:** * Results-oriented and detail-focused. * Strong analytical ability and sound decision-making judgment. * Ability to work under pressure. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Professional ethics and confidentiality. **Others:** *Desirable knowledge of local credit-related regulations (e.g., in Peru: Transparency Law, SBS regulations, etc.).* *Willingness to work onsite or in a hybrid arrangement.* Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.1,800\.00 \- S/.2,500\.00 per month Work Location: Onsite employment
