Collaborating within a small team focused on design **Junior UI/UX Designer** VCM is a professional services outsourcing company supporting businesses across the United States and Canada. We recruit, train, and develop skilled professionals, advise our clients on industry best practices, and ensure high standards of performance, communication, and service quality. We are looking for a **UI/UX Designer** with strong Figma and Illustrator skills, a keen eye for detail, and an interest in creating innovative visual experiences using AI. **Responsibilities** * Support UI production by creating screens, maintaining components, and applying design tokens consistently. * Create and optimize vector assets and illustrations using Adobe Illustrator. * Generate AI\-powered visual and audiovisual content for marketing and product initiatives. * Deliver production\-ready design specifications, assets, and exports for implementation. * Gradually contribute to UX\-related tasks under mentorship, developing greater autonomy over time. * Collaborate with the team to iterate on designs based on feedback and project requirements. * Manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines within sprint cycles. **Required QualificationsUI Design / Figma** * Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, components, variants, styles, and design tokens. * Ability to work from existing specifications and design systems while maintaining consistency. * Strong understanding of design systems, including color, typography, spacing, and border radius. * Excellent attention to detail, particularly in visual hierarchy and component states. **Adobe Illustrator** * Proven proficiency in creating and editing vector assets, including iconography, illustrations, and production\-ready SVGs. * Ability to export assets correctly in the appropriate formats and resolutions/densities. **AI\-Powered Visual \& Audiovisual Content** * Experience generating images and/or videos using AI tools such as Kling, Runway, Midjourney, Sora, or similar platforms. * Ability to write effective prompts and iterate based on generated results. * Basic knowledge of video editing and post\-production. **English** * Upper\-intermediate to advanced English (B2\+). * Ability to read technical documentation, write UI copy, and communicate effectively with the team. **Portfolio** * A portfolio is required and must demonstrate: * UI/Figma work. * Vector assets created with Illustrator. * At least one example of AI\-generated audiovisual content. **Soft Skills** * Strong autonomy and ability to research, troubleshoot, and find solutions independently. * Open to feedback and comfortable iterating on work. * Clear communication and strong collaboration skills within a small team. * Good organization and ability to meet deadlines within sprint cycles. **Nice\-to\-Have Qualifications** * Genuine interest in UX, including user research, information architecture, user flows, and usability, with a willingness to develop these skills. * Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to communicate effectively with developers; coding is not expected. * Familiarity with motion design tools such as After Effects or Lottie. * Interest in creative frontend development and interactive prototyping.
