Strengthen controls and sound accounting practices **A reputable company** seeks to hire a **General Accountant** who not only records transactions but also understands their underlying substance, constructively challenges assumptions, exercises independent judgment, and assumes responsibility for decisions—valuing accuracy and professional integrity as cornerstones of the role. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Certified Public Accountant. * Minimum 5 years of experience leading accounting processes. * Solid knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations. * Experience in audits and tax inspections. * Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems. * Ability to analyze, question, and substantiate technical judgments. * High level of professional integrity. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Lead the monthly and annual accounting close process. * Ensure timely and reliable preparation of financial statements. * Ensure the organization’s compliance with tax obligations. * Manage external, internal, and tax audit inspections. * Identify accounting or tax-related risks and contingencies. * Strengthen controls and sound practices within the accounting function. * Provide reliable and timely financial information to support organizational management and decision-making. **WE HIGHLY VALUE:** * Experience in organizations with formalized processes and controls. * Experience in import companies, distributors, and/or laboratories.
