




Job Summary: Supervise and ensure compliance with the Health, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (HSECQ) management system to reduce operational risks. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervision of SSOMA compliance in mining activities. 2. Leading risk control and SSOMA training initiatives. 3. Accident analysis and ensuring a safe working environment. **Role Objective:** Supervise compliance with all elements comprising the Health, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (HSECQ) management system to minimize process deviations that could result in loss of personnel, equipment, and/or operational continuity. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Monitor implementation of the action plan for controlling identified risks. * Participate in developing the baseline IPERC and oversee its required updates. * Advise line management on generating a risk inventory for all processes related to risk prevention. * Conduct SSOMA training, inductions, and drills for workers according to the established program. * Prepare monthly SSOMA management reports, including accident indicators and incident reports. * Conduct accident analyses using the tools and methodologies defined by the HSEC system. * Identify occupational hazard exposure agents affecting workers. * Suspend operations or tasks in high-risk situations until such risks have been eliminated or minimized. * Ensure continuous supervisor presence during high-risk activities, as determined by risk assessment. * Report progress and compliance status of the SSOMA program to the SSOMA management team. * Supervise the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and equipment protection devices (including technical specifications and quality certifications). * Supervise compliance with the SSOMA Management System (integrated corporate HSEC\-PSM management system), internal safety policies, manuals, and regulations applicable to both internal and external personnel. **Experience:** * Preferred: 4 years of experience in safety and/or SSOMA within mining operations. * Preferred: 2 years of experience in blasting. **Education:** * Degree holder and registered professional in mining engineering, geology, metallurgy, or related fields. * Training or specialized studies in safety and environmental management, minimum duration of 120 hours. **Desired Knowledge:** * Knowledge of laws, decrees, and regulations related to safety and environmental management in mining operations
