Provides support in implementing the Environmental Management System Full Time On-site Environment We are currently seeking a Junior Environmental Engineer for our Yauricocha Mining Unit. Requirements * Bachelor's degree and/or professional title in Environmental Engineering and/or related fields * 2 years of experience in the mining sector * Mining Environmental Legislation, Environmental Monitoring, ISO 14001, Environmental Supervision / Oversight, Potable Water / Wastewater Treatment, Water Resources Software, Environmental Management Instruments (EIA). Responsibilities * Supervise operation and maintenance (preventive and corrective) of water treatment systems (PTAP, PTARD, PTAM), ensure treated water quality and treatment system efficiency. * Maintain up-to-date water balance and controls of the water resources management system, including maintaining reports, records, and indicators of water footprint and information for the Blue Certificate. * Provide support in implementing the Environmental Management System, including developing and implementing standards, procedures, formats, and maintaining records within the framework of ISO 14001\. * Conduct internal monitoring and coordinate with laboratories for its execution according to current IGA, manage instrument calibration for control purposes, and verify the operational status of internal water resource controls. Additionally, track and perform comparative analysis of results against LMP and ECA. * Ensure implementation and calibration of monitoring instrumentation and records, and track strategies and records to measure and reduce the mining unit's water footprint. * Support submission of water consumption reports and preparation of water balance.
