**About the Company** LEPSA is a company specialized in the design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and installation of tanks, equipment, and products made from fiber-reinforced polyester (FRP), engineering thermoplastics, and dual-laminate materials, intended for operation in chemically and environmentally corrosive environments. The company operates in Chile and Argentina, employs over 300 people, and maintains modern industrial facilities exceeding 15,000 m². LEPSA has its own quality control and testing laboratory and operates under an Integrated Management System certified to the **ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 37001** standards. **Main Responsibilities** We are seeking a **Design Engineer** to join our Engineering team on a **full-time, on-site basis**, based in **Lurín, Lima**. The position will be responsible for the design, structural calculation, and optimization of industrial equipment and products manufactured from FRP and thermoplastics, ensuring compliance with technical, functional, and quality requirements according to international standards such as **ASME RTP-1** and **BS EN 13121-3**. Key responsibilities include: * Development, review, and validation of engineering designs. * Preparation of drawings and models using CAD software. * Structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA – Nastran) tools. * Coordination with multidisciplinary teams (production, quality, projects). * Preparation of calculation reports, technical reports, and design documentation. * Technical support to production and project teams. * Preparation of cost estimates and technical evaluations. * Proposal of technical improvements aimed at optimizing product cost, efficiency, and performance. **Requirements** * Licensed Mechanical Engineer registered with the **Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú**, or related degree. * Experience in design engineering, structural verification, and industrial product design—preferably storage tanks and piping systems. * Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles and structural analysis. * Experience with CAD tools and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software. * *Experience with AutoCAD, Siemens Solid Edge, and Simcenter Femap with Nastran is highly desirable.* * **Advanced English proficiency**, both written and spoken, for interpreting technical standards, preparing documentation, and communicating with international clients and suppliers. * Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and capacity to solve technical problems. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams. * Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial project companies (preferred). * Willingness to travel nationally and internationally. ***BENEFITS:*** * Salary negotiable * Formal employment registration from Day 1 * Benefits under Peru’s General Social Security Regime Employment type: Full-time Salary: Starting from S/.1,000 per month Work location: On-site employment
