Position Summary: We are seeking a Junior Hydraulic Engineer to support hydraulic calculations, modeling, and preparation of technical reports for mining hydraulic projects. Key Highlights: 1. Hydraulic calculation development and hydrological/hydraulic modeling 2. Proficiency in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, QGIS/ArcGIS software 3. Basic programming in R and/or Python At **Lara Consulting**, we seek a **Junior Hydraulic Engineer** eager to grow within mining hydraulic projects. You will be part of our team supporting hydraulic calculations, modeling, and technical report preparation, contributing to the success of our projects. **Responsibilities:** * Hydraulic calculation development and hydrological/hydraulic modeling. * Support in preparing technical documentation and budgets. * Proficiency in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, QGIS/ArcGIS software. * Basic programming in R and/or Python. * Field travel as required by project needs. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree or candidate in Civil Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, or Hydraulics. * Minimum 2 years of experience in mining, performing hydraulic calculations. * Intermediate knowledge of HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, QGIS/ArcGIS. * Programming knowledge in R and/or Python. **Desirable:** * Experience in dam break studies. * Intermediate/advanced English proficiency. **Benefits:** * **Formal employment registration from day one, with all statutory benefits.** Employment type: Full-time Work location: On-site
