Position Summary: Support the operation of the calibration laboratory by following quality procedures and standards, and managing equipment and instruments. Key Highlights: 1. CERTIMET, a calibration specialist company, is seeking a **LABORATORY ASSISTANT** in San Luis. **REQUIREMENTS**: * Minimum 6 months of experience in similar positions. * Engineer or Technician in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or related fields. * Basic knowledge of quality standards applicable to laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025\). * Prior experience in calibration or metrology laboratories is desirable. * Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word) and quality management systems. * Basic knowledge of metrology and measurement principles (desirable). * Ability to follow procedures and technical instructions. * Basic proficiency in data logging software and quality management systems. * Use and handling of laboratory equipment. * Availability to work in SAN LUIS (behind Videna) from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM, and Saturdays from 8 AM to 11 AM. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: * Comply with procedures established in the Integrated Management System. * Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Integrated Management System. * Support the identification of deviations from the management system or from procedures governing laboratory activities. * Support the implementation of actions to prevent or minimize identified deviations. * Report to the Technical Manager and Metrologist I on the performance of the management system and any improvement needs. * Ensure the effectiveness of laboratory activities. * Register OTICs for calibration and/or maintenance services in the laboratory’s activity schedule. * Send customers’ calibration certificates. * Send customers’ instrument intake/withdrawal records. * Prepare equipment and instruments for calibration processes. * Support the execution of calibrations according to internal procedures and technical standards. * Manage inventory of reference standards, materials, and consumables. * Verify compliance with environmental conditions required for calibrations. * Collaborate in the preparation of calibration certificates and reports. * Record and verify the intake/withdrawal of standards, auxiliary equipment, and tools, among other assigned functions.
