Job Summary: We are seeking an Occupational Safety and Health Assistant to identify, assess, and control occupational hazards, planning and promoting preventive and corrective actions. Develops risk prevention programs and management systems We are looking for an **Occupational Safety and Health Assistant**. Combines technical knowledge (safety, hygiene, legislation) with soft skills (communication, leadership, teamwork) to identify, assess, and control occupational hazards. **Primary objective:** To plan, monitor, advise on, and promote preventive and corrective actions to avoid workplace accidents and occupational diseases, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations on workplace accidents and occupational diseases" and their complementary regulations. **Competencies and skills** **Technical:** \- Identify, assess, and control occupational hazards. \- Understand current legal regulations and sector-specific standards. \- Prepare and maintain up-to-date risk matrices, procedures, and work protocols. \- Supervise the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). \- Plan training sessions and safety campaigns. \- Know and apply standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 9001, etc. \- Supervise and monitor the implementation of preventive measures. **Soft:** Communication: Assertive communication to influence various organizational levels and effectively convey risks. Leadership: To promote a safety culture and guide personnel. Teamwork: Collaborate harmoniously and respectfully across all hierarchical levels. Problem solving: Make rapid and effective decisions, such as halting work if hazardous. Advising: Provide support and guidance to senior management and other teams. **Main responsibilities** Plan and execute: Develop risk prevention programs and occupational safety and health management systems. Investigate and monitor: Investigate incidents, identify hazards, and propose control measures. Supervise: Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with safety procedures and proper use of PPE by personnel. Advise: Advise management and occupational safety and health committees. Promote: Foster a safety culture and prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases. Salary: S/.1,800\.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
