Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Waiter for a well-known sandwich shop in Miraflores, with strong customer service skills, POS system proficiency, and teamwork abilities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer attention and courtesy, anticipating their needs. 2. Setting up and preparing the dining area, maintaining order and cleanliness. 3. Coordination with the kitchen and bar to support venue operations. We seek top talent to take on the challenge as a WAITER in the Miraflores district, at our Ejército branch — a recognized sandwich shop. Requirements: Completed secondary education. Minimum 6 months of verifiable experience as a Waiter in a restaurant or similar establishment. Proficiency in INFOREST or similar systems; POS payment handling. Table service techniques, excellent customer attention and courtesy. Availability to work in Miraflores. Responsibilities: Customer service: taking and serving orders, responding to inquiries, and anticipating special needs (e.g., allergies, dietary habits). Setup and preparation: arranging cutlery, glasses, and tableware before each service; maintaining dining area cleanliness and order. Operational support: coordinating with kitchen and bar for timely delivery of dishes and beverages; assisting with opening or closing procedures. Quality control: verifying food presentation and temperature prior to serving. Upselling: suggesting side dishes or beverages to enhance the customer experience. Order entry and payment processing: using INFOREST or another POS system to record consumption, issue bills, and process payments. Teamwork: supporting colleagues during peak demand periods and maintaining effective communication with all staff.
