GAMMA PLAST seeks a Production Manager to oversee production planning, personnel management, process optimization, and ensure operational efficiency and quality control.

1. Manages personnel, planning, and weekly production scheduling.
2. Optimizes process flow and ensures personnel safety.
3. Ensures optimal operation of production machines and equipment.
At GAMMA PLAST, we are seeking a Production Manager who meets the following profile:
Requirements:
* Professional with a university degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
* Minimum 3 years of experience
* Intermediate Excel proficiency (NOT mandatory)
* Specialization in quality and productivity (NOT mandatory)
* Knowledge of management indicators (Desirable)
* Courses in Process Management and Productivity (NOT mandatory)
* Courses in Leadership and Personal Development (Desirable)
* Knowledge of productivity tools (NOT mandatory)
* Experience working in make-to-order companies with a wide variety of SKUs (Desirable)
* Familiarity with Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, BPM, and BPA standards) (Desirable)
Responsibilities:
* Manage and assign personnel to corresponding shifts and machines.
* Coordinate execution of production planning.
* Present the weekly production schedule for all production lines.
* Manage raw material requirements necessary for production.
* Coordinate weekly material and supply requirements with the logistics department.
* Prepare and submit monthly production reports.
* Evaluate personnel performance to determine renewal or separation.
* Report staff absences, tardiness, leave requests, and overtime hours to the Human Resources department.
* Schedule staff vacations, considering production needs.
* Ensure optimal operation of production machines and equipment.
* Design and optimize process flow for new product production.
* Ensure safety and well-being of supervised personnel.
* Administer and allocate personnel according to their skills and experience to maximize performance across various machines.
* Download orders from the ERP NOW system and schedule them on corresponding machines.
* Present weekly machine-specific production schedules during planning meetings.
* Establish production delivery dates based on priorities set by the commercial department.
* Calculate required quantities of materials, supplies, and additives to meet the production schedule.
* Send the scheduled dispatch calendar for the week to suppliers.
* Generate and coordinate purchase orders for raw materials, supplies, additives, inks, solvents, tapes, scrapers, and manage dispatch.
* Request and approve quotations for new inks, coordinating their development and implementation.
* Notify via email the scheduling of overtime for holidays or Sundays worked.
* Conduct valued inventories of work-in-process, raw materials, additives, inks, and supplies at month-end.
* Train personnel on correct completion of production reports and other related documents.
* Perform balance and control of materials used in outsourced services.
* Verify that all personnel wear appropriate uniforms and have the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
