Job Summary: A professional responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing blasting processes—including design, programming, and detonation—while generating reports and conducting training. Key Highlights: 1. Plans and coordinates blasting tasks and ensures product stock. 2. Designs, programs, and executes complete blasting processes. 3. Trains on products, serves customers, and generates detailed reports. FUNCTIONS: * Plan and coordinate blasting tasks with personnel involved in blasting operations. * Ensure adequate stock of DaveyTronic products at the operation site. * Verify availability of resources at the operation site or request them as needed. * Carry out the full blasting process: design, programming, connection, checking, charging, and detonation. * Collect information from the blasting process and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on performance indicators, progress, anomalies, downstream post-blast result tracking support, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct training on products and their properties. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing requirements and expectations. * Coordinate blasting activities with the customer and provide process reports. REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum 2 years’ experience in underground mining (preferred). * Minimum 2 years’ experience in UG (underground) operations (preferred). * Minimum 1 year’s experience with electronic initiation systems (preferred). * Mining Technician or related field. * Knowledge of explosives and detonators: usage and properties. * Blasting design software. * Knowledge of initiation sequence design. * Class AIIB license (preferred). * Must reside in Lima, Pasco, or Huancayo.
