Job Summary: A professional responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing blasting operations, ensuring product stock availability and providing technical support to customers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Planning and coordination of blasting tasks 2. Blast design, programming, and detonation 3. Technical support and customer training RESPONSIBILITIES: * Plan and coordinate blasting-related tasks with personnel involved in blasting operations. * Ensure adequate stock levels of DaveyTronic products at the site. * Verify availability of required resources at the site or request them as needed. * Perform blast design, programming, connection, checking, loading, and detonation. * Collect blasting process data and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key performance indicators, progress, anomalies, downstream post-blast result tracking support, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct training sessions on products and their properties. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing requirements and expectations. * Coordinate blasting operations with customers and provide process reports. REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum 2 years of experience in mining (preferred) * Minimum 1 year of experience with electronic initiation systems (preferred) * Mining Technician or related field * Knowledge of explosives and detonators: usage and properties * Blasting design software * Knowledge of initiation sequence design * Class AIIB driver's license (preferred)
