Manage multidisciplinary teams and drive continuous improvement. **Job Description** A leading agro-industrial company is seeking a **Quality Control and Assurance Manager**, responsible for leading the organization’s quality and food safety strategy, ensuring compliance with national and international standards, regulatory requirements, and customer commitments. The position aims to guarantee excellence in production processes through implementation, supervision, and continuous improvement of quality management systems, food safety systems, and operational control systems, thereby contributing to the agro-industrial business’s efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness. The role will lead multidisciplinary teams and work cross-functionally with Production, Agricultural Operations, Processing Plant, Logistics, and Commercial departments to strengthen the organization’s quality culture. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and oversee the comprehensive **quality control and assurance strategy** across agro-industrial processes. * Lead quality and food safety management systems, ensuring compliance with standards, certifications, and customer requirements. * Supervise quality control programs in the field, processing plant, storage, and dispatch. * Manage quality indicators (KPIs), analyze results, and establish action plans focused on continuous improvement. * Coordinate internal, external, and certification audits, ensuring timely identification of observations and opportunities for improvement. * Ensure compliance with applicable national and international regulations governing the agro-industrial sector. * Lead implementation of prevention methodologies, risk analysis, and process control. * Promote an organizational culture focused on quality, food safety, and operational excellence. * Manage quality professionals and technicians, fostering their development and goal achievement. * Collaborate with production departments to optimize processes, reduce deviations, and ensure final product conformity. * Analyze trends, customer complaints, and operational results to propose preventive and corrective actions. * Administer resources, budgets, and projects related to quality management. **Requirements Academic Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Agro-Industrial Engineering, Food Industry Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. * Postgraduate studies, specialization, or programs in Quality Management, Food Safety, Integrated Management Systems, or Administration are desirable. **Experience** * Minimum 3–5 **years of experience in quality-related, quality assurance, or process management roles within the agro-industrial, food, or manufacturing sectors**. * Experience leading teams and managing quality systems in medium- or large-scale organizations. * Experience implementing and maintaining food quality and safety standards. **Knowledge** * Quality and food safety management systems. * Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). * HACCP systems, risk management, and process control. * Quality audits and international certifications. * Performance indicator management and continuous improvement tools. * Regulations applicable to the agro-industrial sector and food exportation. **Competencies** * Leadership and team management. * Strategic thinking and results orientation. * Analytical ability and problem-solving skills. * Effective communication and negotiation skills. * Commitment to continuous improvement. * Organization and planning.
