**Instructor Profile:**
**Profile:**
Textile or Industrial Engineer specializing in Fabric Technology, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in apparel manufacturing companies.
**Required Experience:**
● **Fiber and Fabric Inspection**
Fiber types (natural, synthetic, blends). Physical and chemical properties. Fabric classification (woven, knitted, non-woven). Identification of fabric defects.
**Sampling Techniques**
Statistical sampling. AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) system. 4-point and 10-point fabric inspection systems. Interpretation of results. Raw material traceability.
**Textile Testing Laboratory**
Physical tests: tensile strength, elongation, grammage. Shrinkage testing. Color fastness (rubbing, washing, light). Laboratory equipment and usage.
**Key Knowledge Areas:**
* Circular knitting technology: gauge, diameter, grammage, and applications
* Flat knitting: basic stitch structures, jacquard and intarsia fabrics
* Warp knitting (tricot and raschel): structure, technical and sportswear applications
* Woven fabric: projectile, gripper, air-jet, and water-jet looms
* Fundamental weave structures: plain, twill, satin, and their derivatives
* Calculation of warp and weft densities, fabric grammage, and usable fabric width
* Dimensional shrinkage: causes, measurement methods, and control strategies
* Interpretation of fabric technical specifications and calculation of theoretical yarn consumption
**Responsibilities:**
● Deliver modules related to production process control.
● Develop practical case studies based on real-world industry scenarios.
● Evaluate participants’ technical performance.
**Teaching Experience:**
* Minimum 1 year of experience delivering training, courses, or workshops, either in-person, online, or in hybrid format.
* Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accessibly to audiences with varying levels of knowledge.
