Your work will be critical to concurrent closure, long-term closure, and future project planning. ##### **As Part of Our Team** * You will manage the Mine Closure Engineering Project Portfolio in accordance with Area requirements. * You will plan and develop annual engineering designs for mine closure projects (concurrent closure), for LOM\&ARO development, and for future project closure plans. * You will lead the consultant selection process for the engineering development phase of concurrent closure projects. You will review and approve technical queries arising during mine closure project development (consulting and execution). * You will identify design criteria, codes, and standards for projects to ensure functionality and optimization of quantities. * You will coordinate with clients to establish priorities for their requirements and jointly identify opportunities for improvement and synergies in mine closure work. * You will review and approve complete engineering deliverables from your team members, following established project codes and specifications. * You will validate, verify, and generate material requirements (BOMs) for various projects. * You will provide technical support for annual Mine Closure AFEs. * You will evaluate and monitor compliance with commitments for Concurrent Closure, Long-Term Closure, and support for future project closure plans. * You will manage and administer contracts with contractors in SAP and ARIBA systems, and track compliance with shifts, vacations, and training for staff under your supervision. ##### **Requirements for Success in This Role** * You must hold a degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Mining) and be licensed by the relevant professional association * Minimum 10 years of experience in mining, including at least 5 years in Mine Closure projects * Proven experience leading project engineering, consultant management, and contract administration * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Project, and office productivity tools * Intermediate English proficiency and Class A1 driver’s license * Strong commitment to safety, environment, ethics, diversity, and inclusion ##### **Your Work Environment** * You will operate in a dynamic environment combining remote work, office-based work, and fieldwork across operations located up to 4,200 meters above sea level. * Willingness to reside in Cajamarca * This role follows a 4x3 work schedule, with rotating shifts as required.
