Job Summary: Support electronic initiation of blasting, ensuring planning, coordination, and safety of the process through mastery of the DaveyTronic System. Key Highlights: 1. Acquire and certify knowledge of the DaveyTronic System. 2. Planning and coordination of blasting tasks. 3. Ensure the electronic blasting process is conducted safely. **Mission or Objective:** Acquire knowledge of the DaveyTronic System and achieve certification as a user. Support and assist EDE and PDE to ensure the electronic blasting initiation process is carried out safely. **Responsibilities:** * Plan and coordinate tasks with personnel involved in blasting. * Ensure adequate stock levels of DaveyTronic products at the operation. * Review the blast design process for sequencing of faces and production activities for electronic and centralized blasting, including programming, connection, mandatory testing, charging, and detonation. * Ensure the operation's database is up to date and generate statistical and control charts for preparation of the Monthly Report for the SIE UG department. * Coordinate blasting activities with EDE and/or PDE **Requirements:** * Mining Technician or related field. * Minimum 1 year of mining experience preferred. * Knowledge of electronic initiation systems preferred. * Knowledge of underground blasting preferred. * Driver's license A1; A2B preferred.
