Industrial Instrumentation Instructor
We seek technical or university-educated professionals in Industrial Instrumentation, Industrial Electronics, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related fields, with knowledge of industrial process instrumentation and control, to deliver theoretical-practical training to students and industry professionals.
The instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction focused on the practical application of industrial instrumentation, instrument calibration, and process control—aligned with real-world industrial needs.
Main Responsibilities
* Deliver theoretical-practical courses on Industrial Instrumentation.
* Develop and update training modules related to instrumentation, measurement, and process control.
* Provide technical support and guidance to students during labs and projects.
* Perform configuration, calibration, diagnostics, and maintenance of industrial measurement instruments.
* Configure and verify pressure, temperature, level, flow, and other process transmitters.
* Interpret and create P&ID diagrams, control loops, electrical drawings, and instrumentation schematics using AutoCAD, CADE SIMU, or other engineering tools.
* Develop manuals, laboratory guides, and academic materials for training.
* Conduct technical demonstrations and specialized training for clients and companies.
* Participate in technical visits, data collection, and preparation of technical reports.
* Support preparation of quotations and technical proposals related to industrial instrumentation.
* Assist with transportation, receipt, verification, and dispatch of instrumentation equipment when required.
Requirements
* Technical or university education in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related fields.
* Graduate, bachelor’s degree holder, or certified technician.
* Minimum 6 months of experience in industrial instrumentation, instrument maintenance, or process control projects (including pre-professional or professional internships).
* Experience as an instructor or trainer (preferred).
Knowledge of:
* Industrial Instrumentation.
* Calibration of process instruments.
* Pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters.
* Industrial sensors and primary measurement elements.
* Control valves and positioners.
* Industrial process control.
* Control loops and interpretation of P&ID diagrams.
* Industrial communication protocols (HART, Modbus, and fundamentals of Fieldbus).
* Industrial electricity and applied electronics.
* Interpretation of electrical drawings and instrumentation diagrams.
* Use of multifunction calibrators and measurement equipment.
* Microsoft Windows and office applications.
