Job Description: **INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN** Requirements: · Education: Technical studies in electricity and/or instrumentation · Experience: Minimum 3 years in similar positions. · Specific Knowledge: \- Industrial instrumentation knowledge (installation, wiring, calibration, and configuration). \- Knowledge of industrial network connectivity: DCS, Modbus, Profibus DP, Ethernet, and HART. \- Solid understanding of plant power distribution systems and power electronics systems. \- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and process control. \- Solid knowledge of inspection, maintenance, and calibration of process control instruments. \- Experience reading and interpreting P\&ID diagrams. \- Proficiency in electrical variables. \- Knowledge of pressure, level, flow, and temperature transmitters. \- Knowledge of analytical instrumentation (pH, ORP, conductivity). \- Knowledge of control valves and positioners. \- Knowledge of 4\-20 mA loops and digital signals. \- Knowledge of PLC/DCS and SCADA systems. \- Knowledge of gas analyzers (desirable). · Working Conditions: o 5X2 Work Schedule o CAJAMARCA · Main Responsibilities: a) Inspect physical and environmental conditions of the area before commencing activities, verifying hazards and operational conditions. b) Coordinate materials, tools, and calibration equipment according to the weekly schedule. c) Verify technical specifications of the instrument (pneumatic, electronic, hydraulic, analytical) prior to intervention. d) Install, dismantle, and replace transmitters, sensors, control valves, and positioners per P\&ID drawings and vendor manuals. e) Perform wiring of analog and discrete instruments, ensuring correct polarity, continuity, and insulation. f) Verify proper location and installation standards per loop diagrams and technical specifications. g) Execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on measurement and control instruments. h) Perform maintenance on pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, and analytical instrumentation (pH, ORP, conductivity, gases, density). i) Conduct maintenance and inspection of control loops to optimize resource utilization and intervention time. j) Calibrate instruments in the field or in the lab using certified equipment (Fluke, Beamex, or others). k) Configure smart instruments via HART, Modbus, Foundation Fieldbus, or other protocols. l) Adjust ranges, set points, scales, and operating parameters per technical specifications. m) Issue calibration records and certificates in accordance with internal procedures and traceability requirements. n) Verify analog (4–20 mA) and digital signals at instruments and control panels. o) Conduct full loop tests (instrument–PLC/DCS–SCADA). **IF INTERESTED, PLEASE SEND YOUR CV TO 986670278** Salary: Starting from S/.1\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
