Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to support the accounting department in the analysis, calculation, and determination of taxes, financial closings, preparation of financial statements, and tax returns. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support to the accounting department in tax management. 2. Participation in monthly and annual financial closings. 3. Preparation and analysis of financial statements and tax returns. A prominent import and trading company is currently seeking a professional who meets the following profile: TAX ANALYST A senior tax analyst is required to support the accounting department. Immediate start. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: \- Analyze, calculate, and determine monthly and annual taxes for certain companies within the organization to ensure compliance with statutory deadlines. \- Participate in monthly and annual financial closings. \- Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements. \- Prepare cash flow statements. \- Prepare and validate tax returns (IGV, Income Tax, withholdings, deductions, and others). \- Analyze and reconcile accounting and bank accounts. \- Review purchase and sales records. \- Provide support during internal and external audits, as well as SUNAT requirements. \- Coordinate responses to requests related to the corporation’s transfer pricing study. \- Generate and review electronic ledger reports and submit them to SUNAT. \- Propose improvements to accounting and tax processes. \- Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: \- Bachelor's degree in Accounting. \- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a tax analyst role. \- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and advanced Excel skills. \- Specialization in Taxation.
