Job Objective
Ensure that manufacturing, assembly, installation, and commissioning activities of mechanical equipment and structures for stationary plants comply with technical specifications, applicable standards, quality procedures, and client requirements, guaranteeing conformance of all executed project activities.
Requirements
* Mechanical Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer, Electrical-Mechanical Engineer, or related degree.
* Licensed and registered professional engineer (preferred).
* Experience in quality assurance and quality control for mechanical assembly projects or industrial plants.
* Knowledge of inspection of metallic structure, piping, and mechanical equipment assembly.
* Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, isometric drawings, and technical specifications.
* Familiarity with ASME, AWS, API, ISO 9001 standards and project-applicable codes.
* Knowledge of developing and monitoring Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), inspection protocols, and quality dossiers.
* Knowledge of dimensional inspections, equipment alignment, and leveling.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (preferred).
* Availability to work under a 20x10 work regime.
Main Responsibilities
* Supervise compliance with quality procedures during assembly and installation of the stationary plant.
* Verify that work is performed in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards.
* Develop, review, and control Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
* Conduct material and equipment receiving inspections.
* Inspect manufacturing, mechanical assembly, and metallic structure works.
* Verify alignment, leveling, and assembly of mechanical equipment.
* Monitor proper execution of welding and review qualification records and WPS/PQR documentation.
* Prepare inspection protocols, checklists, and quality records.
* Coordinate inspections with the client and supervision team.
* Manage quality documentation and prepare the project Quality Dossier.
* Record and track Non-Conformities (NC) and corrective actions.
* Issue technical reports and quality area progress reports.
* Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and SSOMA departments to ensure adherence to established standards.
* Participate in technical and project planning meetings.
