UPS Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a UPS maintenance technician to perform diagnostic, repair, and installation tasks, ensuring operational continuity and providing technical support to customers. Teamwork and customer orientation Responsibilities * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on single-phase and three-phase UPS systems. * Diagnose and repair electronic, electrical, and operational faults. * Conduct autonomy and performance tests on equipment. * Install, configure, and commission new UPS systems. * Replace batteries and inspect battery banks. * Configure operating parameters according to manufacturer specifications. * Prepare technical maintenance reports and service reports. * Respond to emergencies and provide on-site technical support at customer facilities. * Verify grounding systems and power quality when required. * Comply with electrical safety standards during interventions. * Coordinate with the technical department for maintenance scheduling. * Maintain tools and measuring instruments in good condition. * Provide basic technical advice to customers regarding proper equipment usage. **Education** * Graduate or certified technician in Electronics, Industrial Electricity, Electrotechnology, or related fields. **Experience** * 2 years of experience in UPS maintenance. * Experience with equipment ranging from 1 kVA to 200 kVA (preferred). * Field maintenance experience. **Knowledge** * Analog and digital electronics. * Industrial electricity. * VRLA and Lithium battery banks (desirable). * Interpretation of electrical diagrams. * Use of multimeter, clamp meter, and megohmmeter. * UPS configuration via software. * Electrical safety. **Requirements** * Class A1 driver's license (desirable). * Willingness to travel. * Availability to work outside regular hours in case of emergencies. * Basic Microsoft Office skills. * Technical report writing.
