Resident Construction Engineer

Job Summary: Civil Engineer responsible for studying projects, assembling work teams, verifying field conditions, and planning work fronts. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership in team formation and coordination. 2. Responsible for planning and meeting construction deadlines. 3. Updating drawings and reporting changes for project management. Study background information for each project (drawings, budget, thicknesses, concrete compressive strength (f'c), cement type, fibers, admixtures, etc., schedules, connections with existing pavements, subcontractors, materials, required personnel). Assemble and mobilize the workforce to form construction crews (Crew Leader, Carpenters, Concrete Workers, Polishers, Cutters). Verify that field working conditions are met (water, electricity, power supply, mixer access, wash zone, debris storage area, site camp, relations with labor union). Plan work fronts to meet contractual deadlines (coordinate with Crew Leaders, subcontractors, and client). Coordinate with the Carpentry Supervisor or Surveyor to review base levels to confirm concrete order volumes and prevent overconsumption. Update construction drawings with actual site information and construction details (expansion joints, armor, reinforcements, cuts, etc.). Inform Technical Office about additional works or changes that entail increased costs or resources. **REQUIREMENTS:** Licensed Civil Engineer 4 years of experience in construction projects Proficient user-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Valid Class A1 driver's license is mandatory Workplace: On-site employment
