Position Summary: We are seeking an IP CORE MPLS - SDN O&M Coordinator to ensure proper operation, investigate incidents, and coordinate projects on the IP Datacomm network, with a focus on growth and continuous engagement with challenges. Learn more about our opening for IP CORE MPLS - SDN O\&M Coordinator. * Ensure proper operation of IP Datacomm network elements by continuously monitoring and tracking their performance. * Investigate, prioritize, diagnose, resolve, and recover from incidents occurring on IP Datacomm equipment. * Coordinate, from an operational perspective, various initiatives and projects involving IP Datacomm equipment. * Review, approve, and execute MOPs related to IP Datacomm equipment. * Provide 24x7 support for all incidents related to IP Datacomm equipment. * Monitor and track operational and security incidents related to IP Datacomm equipment. * Schedule, coordinate, and report activities scheduled during maintenance windows for Wholesale Services. * Coordinate vendor support while adhering to agreed SLAs. * Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for IP Datacomm equipment. * Coordinate new implementation works, requirements, and procedures related to Wholesale Services. * Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to resolve network issues. * Comply with the applicable portion of the Management System and manage records under your responsibility. * Adhere to standards, policies, procedures, and internal guidelines of the Quality Management System. * Provide necessary resources to comply with the Corporate Crime Prevention Model and facilitate required information for identifying MPD risks within your area. * Comply with, and ensure team compliance with, guidelines established in implemented and/or certified management systems. * Actively participate in the development, implementation, and improvement of management systems, and promote them within your teams. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. * CCNA certification (mandatory); CCNP and ITIL knowledge will be considered favorably. * Knowledge of structured cabling systems. * Data networking knowledge (preferred). * Familiarity with Snort, Nmap, Nagios, Ethereal, Tcpdump, and open-source security tools and applications. * Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems. * Experience in telecommunications project management. * Strong understanding of networking solution design and troubleshooting (preferably in telecom environments). * Experience implementing networking and security solutions (routers, firewalls, switches, IPS). * Solid understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, routing protocols, QoS, MPLS, VRRP, and VPN. **Selection Process** ------------------------ Our selection process is conducted via Aira — a recruitment platform designed to enhance your application experience.
