Summary: FCamara is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and evolve scalable backend systems within a modern .NET ecosystem, leading implementation of workflow-heavy services in a microservices architecture. Drive clean architecture and maintainable backend design FCamara is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design and evolve scalable backend systems within a modern .NET ecosystem. You will lead the implementation of workflow\-heavy backend services \- covering onboarding, relationship management, orchestration, and integrations \- within a microservices\-based architecture, while helping drive engineering quality and architectural consistency across the team. **Responsibilities and assignments** * Design and implement scalable backend systems using C\# and .NET * Lead technical design for REST APIs and workflow\-heavy services * Drive clean architecture and maintainable backend design across distributed microservices * Break down large workflows into reusable services and components * Review code, mentor engineers, and improve engineering standards * Ensure systems are resilient, transactional, and production\-ready * Work closely with product managers and frontend engineers on API and workflow design **Requirements and qualifications** * 6\+ years of backend engineering experience * Strong expertise in C\# and .NET * Experience designing production\-grade REST APIs and backend workflows * Strong understanding of clean architecture and separation of concerns * Deep experience with Entity Framework, SQL, and relational databases * Experience handling concurrency, idempotency, and transactional consistency * Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms and distributed microservices architectures * Strong debugging, architecture, and problem\-solving skills * Fluency in English Nice to Have: * Experience in banking, fintech, CRM, or customer onboarding platforms * Experience with matching engines, orchestration workflows, or distributed systems * Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives * Fluency in Portuguese **Additional information** * Fully remote * Multinational, multicultural team \- collaborate with talented engineers across different backgrounds and geographies * Real challenges and ownership.
