Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. **Job Description: Mechanical Draftsman** **Job Summary:** The Mechanical Draftsman is responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings and technical specifications for the fabrication of metal and mechanical components. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, technical knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, as well as advanced proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software. **Responsibilities:** 1. Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings of metal and mechanical components using CAD software. 2. Interpret drawings and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and quality in manufacturing. 3. Collaborate closely with engineers and production teams to optimize design and resolve potential issues. 4. Perform reviews and modifications to designs as needed during the manufacturing process. 5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all designs. **Requirements:** 1. Prior experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or in a similar role within the metallurgical industry. 2. Knowledge of mechanical design, construction materials, and manufacturing processes. 3. Proficiency in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools. 4. Teamwork skills, effective communication, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 5. Attention to detail and efficient problem-solving ability. 6. Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
