Job Summary: We are seeking a CAD Technician / Drafting Technician with experience in metal structures for electrical substations, responsible for drafting drawings and engineering coordination. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in metal structures for electrical substations 2. Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) 3. Focus on order and precision in drawings Due to a tender process, GRUPO GE is currently seeking the following professional: **CAD Technician – Drafting Technician** for metal structures of **electrical substations** (220, 138, and 60 kV). **Requirements:** \- **Academic Qualification:** * CAD Technician or related technical degree **\- Profile:** * Order and precision in drawings * Adherence to deadlines * Experience in addressing comments/observations. **\- Experience:** Minimum experience: 3–5 years Experience in: * Drawings of metal portal frames * Equipment supports * Substation drawings ≥ 60 kV **\- Knowledge:** * Interpretation of structural calculation reports * Drawing criteria for fabrication * Structural details and quantity take-offs (desirable). **\- Software:** * AutoCAD (mandatory) * Desirable: Tekla / Advance Steel / Excel **\- Scope of Work:** * Preparation of fabrication guide drawings * Development of structural drawings * Coordination with engineering.
