Our team in Peru is expanding, and we are currently recruiting a **Civil Earthworks Engineer, Junior**, to join our Minerals & Metals business line in our San Isidro office. **About the Role** As a Junior Civil Earthworks Engineer, you will be part of the team developing solutions for earthworks, hydraulic, and civil–mining infrastructure projects. You will collaborate on the design and modeling of roads, platforms, hydraulic structures, and stormwater management systems, using 3D modeling tools, hydraulic software, and mining-project-specific criteria. You will actively participate in reviewing engineering deliverables, quantity estimations, drafting drawings and technical reports, as well as interacting with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, hydrological, and hydrogeological specialists. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and Modeling + Develop 3D models for civil, hydraulic, and mining works (roads, platforms, drainage structures, ramps, and access routes). + Prepare blocks, civil and hydraulic drawings, and technical illustrations. + Support 1D and 2D stormwater modeling using hydraulic software (HEC\-RAS, Iber). * Technical Evaluation and Analysis + Perform quantity estimations and supporting take-off documentation. + Participate in field evaluations of civil works when required. * Multidisciplinary Support + Coordinate with geotechnical, hydrological, geological, and hydrogeological teams to integrate design criteria. * Documentation and Quality + Prepare technical reports and support quality reviews of deliverables. + Participate in technical research and development of innovative solutions. **About You** * A professional holding a degree in Civil, Hydraulic, Agricultural Engineering, or related disciplines, with a focus or experience in road and hydraulic infrastructure design. * 3 years of experience in engineering consulting, earthworks, or hydraulic infrastructure. * Intermediate proficiency in civil–mining software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Dynamo, and Vehicle Tracking. * Basic knowledge of hydraulic modeling software such as HEC\-RAS or IBER. * Knowledge of structures, geotechnics, hydrology, and geosynthetics. * Strong communication, writing, and collaborative working skills. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Intermediate English proficiency and basic Python knowledge. **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth and aim to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
