The Project: You will be responsible for developing and validating budgets for pre-investment studies and technical files. This role will prepare unit price analyses, quantity take-offs, and valuations, ensuring costs are realistic, competitive, and aligned with market conditions and current regulations. You will also support public entities in budget formulation for effective project management. Close coordination with the project’s technical specialists is required. These are:* Safety First \- Go home safe and well * Client Focus \- Deliver on our promise * Integrity \- Always do the right thing * Create Opportunity \- So our people can excel You will be responsible for:* Conduct feasibility studies, advise on procurement strategies and contract selection, and prepare procurement reports. * Apply value management techniques from the start of the project. * Manage cost estimation and planning activities, including preparation and presentation of the final cost plan. * Collaborate on the procurement and selection of the main contractor. * Prepare contractual documents, guarantees, bonds, and licenses, supporting involved parties in their proper formalization. * Advise on administration of construction contract terms. * Measure and provide valuations of work completed, adjusting variations in accordance with contractual terms and contractor consent. * Deliver cost control services and reporting throughout the contract duration. * Prepare financial reports for the client in the required format and frequency. * Identify all costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client expenses. * Participate in evaluating claims for delays and additional costs by contractors and subcontractors/suppliers. * Advise on issuing practical completion certificates, ensuring negotiation and agreement of final accounts. * Advise on issuing defect rectification and final completion certificates, in line with project close-out requirements. * Drive improvements in systems and processes, contributing to operational transformation. * Provide guidance and direction to the assistant cost consultant and junior team members. * Offer informal mentoring and training to junior members, promoting continuous process improvement. * Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will need:* A professional with at least 5 years of experience. * A graduate in Civil Engineering, Economics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields; registered and licensed. Experience in budget preparation and cost analysis for investment projects, having participated in at least 8 projects (* S/ 10MM each), including a minimum of 3 projects exceeding S/ 40MM. * Civil construction schedule: Monday to Saturday.
