Job Summary: We are seeking a Design Leader for MRF LARA SAC, responsible for supervising the design, evaluation, and execution of metal-mechanical structures with technical accuracy, quality, and efficiency, in close collaboration with production and clients. Key Highlights: 1. Lead the design department, ensuring technical accuracy and quality. 2. Conduct client site visits for measurement taking and technical evaluation. 3. Prepare and validate drawings, calculate costs, and ensure quality control. At MRF LARA SAC — a Peruvian company specializing in the manufacturing and repair of metal-mechanical structures for heavy machinery — we are undergoing growth and internal strengthening. Therefore, we seek to rehire a Design Leader who combines technical judgment, leadership, and field orientation, and who wishes to join a high-potential team. **What will be your challenge?** You will be responsible for leading the design department, ensuring that projects are designed, evaluated, and executed with technical accuracy, quality, and efficiency, working closely with the production department and clients. **Main Responsibilities** \- Lead and organize the design team \- Conduct client site visits for: measurement taking, technical evaluation of new projects. \- Prepare and/or validate: fabrication and repair drawings, updates of existing drawings, material cost estimation based on measurements, scope, and client requirements. \- Prepare technical reports for completed projects. \- Ensure quality control from design through delivery. **What are we looking for in you?** \- Technical or university education in: industrial design, mechanical engineering, or metal-mechanical engineering. \- Experience in: design applied to metal-mechanical structures or heavy machinery. \- Fieldwork (measurements, technical evaluations) \- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) \- Ability to lead teams and organize processes. \- Practical, observant profile with sound technical judgment. \- Strong communication skills and willingness to engage with clients and internal teams. **We highly value if you also have:** \- Prior experience leading small teams. \- Knowledge of manufacturing and welding processes \- Genuine motivation to grow and make a meaningful impact in the department.
